The pendant sits at a three-inch drop, weighted enough to hold its shape without pulling the collar out of line. Best against a plain neckline where the geometry can read on its own, or over a turtleneck, where the darkened recesses catch the light along the beaded edge.

Because the texture and finish are applied by hand, small differences from one piece to the next are normal.

The Story

The pendant is built from sheet alloy and wire, cut into two triangular shapes and joined by hand with torch and solder. One edge is hammered repeatedly with a small punch to raise the beaded texture along its border; the other is left smooth, so the two surfaces read against each other.

Above the pendant, the collar picks up a different vocabulary — curved double bars finished with small hand-coiled spiral tips, drawn from Türkiye's long-running wire-forming trade. The whole piece is then oxidized to darken the recesses before a final polish, which is why the beaded border reads so cleanly against the hammered field.
