The face has long been a subject for sculptors working in metal, and this ring takes that tradition into miniature. The features are abstracted into fluid ridges and hollows — a brow line, the curve of a cheek, a suggestion of hair — so the piece reads first as sculpture and second as a face.

Türkiye has a deep metalworking base, from small ateliers to larger casting houses, and pieces like this one are produced within that infrastructure — designed with a contemporary, gallery-facing sensibility rather than a folkloric one.

Each ring starts as a sculpted model, hand-worked to resolve the planes of the face before it is translated into a mold. The alloy is cast into that mold, cooled, then hand-finished — filed at the edges, buffed, and set onto the adjustable band before receiving its matte gold-tone finish.
