Each link is cast and hand-finished, so minor differences in curve and sheen are normal from one piece to the next.

The design is pure line. Open S-curves link end to end, building the whole piece from continuous drawn curve and negative space rather than pattern or ornament.

Cast in pewter zinc alloy, each link is poured into a shaped mold, trimmed of excess metal, and filed smooth before the strand is buffed to a soft brushed-silver finish. A metalsmith joins the links and fits the clasp, checking that every curve sits flush against the next so the necklace moves as one line.
