Each pair varies slightly in horn grain and brass tone — both are natural, hand-finished materials.

The cone-and-cap silhouette pairs two materials chosen for what they do differently. Brass catches warm light and holds a clean, drawn line. Horn stays dense and matte, a solid black that reads as weight against the metal above it.

Threader-style earwires are a modern reading of a straightforward idea: a fine wire that passes through the lobe and lets the main form hang and swing freely, rather than sitting fixed against the ear. Both the drawn wire and the rolled cone are shapes a metalsmith can produce by hand.

A pair starts as flat sheet brass, cut and rolled into a narrow cone, soldered along its seam and brushed smooth. The horn is shaped, sanded and polished separately before being fitted into the open end. The wire is drawn and formed last, so the whole earring hangs and moves as one piece.

Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after wear. Keep the horn tips away from water and prolonged humidity, which can dull the surface over time.
