A row of open circles overlaps across the wrist in a light, graphic rhythm, each ring linking into the next. Small cream and peach cabochons sit inside a few of the loops, catching the light against all the negative space.

  • Material: Brass
  • Stones: White moonstone, peach moonstone
  • Color: Gold
  • Closure: Open cuff, adjustable
  • Origin: India
  • Circumference: 6.25 in

Almost all air and outline, the cuff reads as a drawn line rather than solid metal, so it carries visual weight without adding any to the wrist. The open back adjusts across most sizes, and the warm gold tone sits softly against skin.

Each cuff is hand-formed and hand-set, so the brass finish and the moonstones' color and pattern vary slightly from piece to piece.

The Story

The cuff is built rather than cast — brass wire cut, bent into rings, and soldered together into the overlapping chain that forms the body. That openwork approach keeps it light on the wrist and gives the piece its graphic quality.

Brass sits at the center of a long working tradition in India, moving between household objects and jewelry because it takes hand tools well and holds a warm tone against skin. This cuff comes out of that same small-workshop lineage of ring-by-ring metal work.

The stones are moonstone — a feldspar with a soft internal sheen called adularescence that shifts as the stone catches the light. White moonstone reads cool and milky; peach moonstone carries the same optical effect in a warmer tone from trace iron content. Both are cut as cabochons to preserve that inner glow.

Craft & Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store in a fabric pouch, away from moisture and perfume, to slow tarnishing on the brass.

Questions

Will this cuff fit my wrist?

It is built as an open cuff with a 6.25 in circumference, so you can gently adjust the opening at the back to fit most wrist sizes.

Will the brass tarnish over time?

Brass is a natural metal alloy and develops a patina with wear and air exposure. Wiping it with a soft dry cloth after wearing keeps it bright longer.

Are the moonstones real?

Yes, the white and peach stones are genuine moonstone cabochons, each individually prong-set by hand.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Brass can cause irritation for people with metal sensitivities. Remove it before showering or swimming, and consider a barrier layer for extended wear.
