Each piece is hand-forged and hammered by hand, so small differences in shape, texture and finish are part of the process.

The piece is hand-forged from sheet bronze — cut, hammered and bent into shape rather than cast in a mold. That process is what gives the bar its uneven edges and the discs their pitted, light-catching surface.

The composition mixes circles, a square and a triangle in irregular sizes, scattered rather than aligned. Geometric abstraction runs through Turkish tilework and metalwork, but here the arrangement is deliberately loose, letting the shapes fall unevenly along the frame.

Each disc is drilled and linked with a jump ring so it hangs and shifts independently. The forged bar bends into its angular path, and the hammer marks are left visible across every surface — a record of how it was made.
