A softly rectangular drop, its surface rippled into shallow peaks and valleys that break the light into patches of bright silver and quiet shadow. Nothing stamped or symmetrical — every dip is a little its own.

  • Material: Silver-tone metal alloy
  • Color: Silver
  • Width: 1.125 in
  • Closure: French hook
  • Origin: Türkiye
  • Height: 1.375 in

On the ear the drop sits close to the jaw, wide enough to read from across a room but light in the hand. The matte-bright finish keeps it modern rather than polished, and the rippled surface shifts with every turn of the head.
Details
  • Rippled rectangular silhouette
  • Brushed matte-bright finish
  • Lightweight hand-formed drop
  • French ear wire

Each piece is individually shaped and brushed by hand, so slight variations in contour and surface texture are part of how they are made.

The Story

The rippled surface comes from shaping flat sheet metal into a three-dimensional form by hand rather than casting it flat. The result is a surface that scatters light differently at every angle, with no two peaks or valleys landing in exactly the same place.

The brushed finish is worked into the metal in fine directional strokes after shaping, muting any high shine into a soft matte-bright glow. It is a finishing choice common to contemporary metalsmithing in Türkiye, where sheet-metal forming and hand-finishing remain everyday studio skills.

Worn close to the face, the piece favors form over embellishment — no stones, no filigree, just the interplay of shape, texture and light.

Craft & Care
  • Technique: Hand-forged, brushed metalwork

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and store away from moisture and perfume to keep the brushed finish bright.

Questions

Are these solid silver?

No — they are made from a silver-tone metal alloy with a brushed finish, not sterling silver.

Are they heavy to wear?

No. The metal is worked thin and feels hollow in the hand, so despite the scale they wear light.

Will the finish tarnish or wear off?

Like most brushed metal jewelry, the surface can dull over time with moisture and friction. A soft dry cloth keeps it looking its best.

Where are they made?

Handcrafted in Türkiye.

The earrings are very nice

The earrings are very nice, although just a bit smaller than they appeared in the photo. That is the reason for the 1 star off, I was really looking forward to receiving them and just a little dissapointed at the size. But I am sure I will enjoy wearing them.
