Each disc is hammered by hand, so slight shifts in texture and finish are part of the piece.

The three discs are cut from sheet metal and worked under a hammer, one strike at a time, until the surface holds an uneven, weathered texture. Because the marks are driven in by hand rather than pressed by machine, no two discs come out identical.

Graduating them by size — largest at the collarbone, smallest at the ends — is a standard way jewelers build rhythm into a long lariat. The eye reads the three discs as one falling motion rather than three separate elements.

Made in Türkiye, where the metalworking sector produces both fine and costume pieces for export. The design reads as a modern take on the disc pendant rather than a reproduction of any regional motif.
