The surface is meant to read like something shaped by weather or wear, not a machine-stamped pattern. That effect comes from hammering — a hand technique with deep roots across Anatolia, where working sheet metal into textured, light-catching surfaces has long been part of the region's jewelry vocabulary.

Rather than a smooth polished disc, the metal is worked until it folds and creases irregularly, so no two surfaces catch the light in quite the same way. The large, unadorned circle keeps the focus entirely on that texture — no stone, no filigree, just the crumpled surface itself.

Each disc starts as a flat sheet of alloy, cut into a circle and then worked by hand with hammers and forming tools until it buckles into shape. The finished disc is plated in silver and fitted with a simple ear wire.
