A weighted silver-tone disc centers on a raised, interlaced knot, framed by curling scrollwork against a finely cross-hatched ground. Tapered metal collars flank the matte black cord, giving the composition its structured shoulders.

Substantial across the collarbone without hardware weight, the pendant reads as a single graphic form against a plain neckline. The adjustable cord lets it sit high at the throat or drop lower on the sternum, and it holds its own over black, ivory or oatmeal knits.

The Story

The pendant's center is an endless-knot interlace — a continuous looping line with no beginning or end. Knotwork of this kind appears across Anatolian, Islamic, Celtic and Himalayan metalwork; the unbroken line is a durable way to picture continuity, and here it reads as pure symmetrical pattern rather than any specific emblem.

Around the knot, a ring of dense cross-hatching and loose scrollwork tendrils gives the flat disc depth and movement without figures or inscription. The eye lands on the knot first, then travels outward through the texture.

It is made in Türkiye, where small metal workshops produce engraved pendants and fittings using these same interlace and scroll conventions, adapting them from disc to disc rather than working from a fixed template.
