The Story

Brass takes a warm, gold-like finish and shapes easily under a hammer, which is why smiths in India have long built chains this way — link by link, rather than casting the whole piece in one pour.

The design leans into that construction. Squares, ovals and circles stay as open frames; slim bar links carry the eye between them. The rhythm of the chain comes from how each link was shaped and set, not from a mold.

Each link begins as brass wire or strip, cut, formed around a mandrel, hammered flat, and closed by hand before it joins the next. The loop-and-bar closure is finished the same way and left exposed.
