Each bead is individually wrapped by hand from a different scrap of recycled sari fabric, so the color mix and pattern placement on your necklace will differ from the piece shown.

The fabric on each bead comes from a recycled sari — offcuts and worn textiles cut into strips and wound tightly around a carved wood core until the surface is smooth. Every bead pulls from a different garment, so the necklace becomes a small archive of many prints layered into one piece.

The wood beads underneath are carved from furniture scrap, another form of reuse that runs through the necklace. Reclaimed wood, reclaimed cloth: nothing here begins with new material.

Because the fabric changes with every batch of saris, no two necklaces come out the same. The color mix on any given piece is the visible sum of many individual garments.

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth and store flat or hanging so the fabric-wrapped beads keep their shape. Keep away from water, perfume, and direct sun.
