The open bar frame and banded midsection read like a miniature structure, and the antique-silver surface points to a design language that values honest construction over ornamentation.

Each pair starts as a model of the open frame and crescent base, cast in a pewter-based alloy in small batches. Once cooled, the wire banding is set by hand, the surface is worked to bring out the antique-silver finish, and the silver plating is applied. Because finishing is done by hand rather than machine-polished to a uniform shine, small differences in texture and tone carry through from pair to pair.
