Each tab is soldered individually, so slight differences in tab spacing and finish appear from piece to piece.

The necklace is built in Türkiye, where base-metal work is a long-running trade — pewter and silver soldered and finished by hand in small workshops rather than cast in molds.

The design takes one small unit — a leaf-shaped pewter tab — and multiplies it into a long, tapering line. Density is highest at the shoulders and thins toward the center front, so the piece reads like a spine or a fern frond as it drops toward the pendant point.

Each tab is soldered to the next along a length of fine chain, one joint at a time. The taper is controlled by eye, not template — more tabs at the top, fewer as the design narrows, hundreds of small joints checked for strength before the piece is polished and the clasp is set.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Store flat or hanging separately so the tabs don't tangle or scratch.
