A wide silver band worked entirely in raised detail — rows of tiny granules and twisted rope wire framing a small turquoise cabochon at the center. The darkened background pushes every bead and length of wire into relief.

At about three-eighths of an inch, the band sits substantially on the finger without becoming heavy. The turquoise reads as a single point of cool color against silver that catches the light unevenly — bright on the raised work, deep shadow in between.
