The dotted, granulated surface echoes the hand-tooled textures of Anatolian metalsmithing — a plain sheet worked into a patterned, light-catching surface through repeated hand work rather than left smooth.

Each piece starts as a cast pewter zinc alloy disc, individually hand-textured to bring up the fine dot pattern before being oxidized to a matte, antiqued tone that darkens the recesses and lifts the raised texture. The finished discs are then hand-linked in graduated order onto the chain.
