Two fan-shaped brass forms face each other across a slim silver band, their radiating stamped lines and rows of small circles catching light against the darker metal below.

At the wrist's center the paired brass forms hold the composition symmetrical, framed by the band's scattered dot stamping running out in both directions. Warm against cool, raised against recessed — every mark is struck by hand.

Because each cuff is stamped and shaped by hand, small variations in texture, oxidation and finish are part of the piece.

The Story

The design translates a sunrise into two facing brass fans, each stamped with radiating lines at the arc and rows of small circles inside. Read as a pair, they hold the composition symmetrical across the wrist.

Brass and oxidized silver do the color work. The warm brass sits raised against a band darkened in a chemical bath and then buffed so the finish stays only in the recessed dots — bright against shadow, warm against cool.

Each cuff is cut from flat sheets of brass and sterling silver before the surface work begins. The stamped marks are struck by hand, one at a time; the silver is oxidized, buffed back, and the brass forms riveted on before the band is shaped to its final curve.

Keep away from moisture, lotion and perfume. Polish occasionally with a soft jewelry cloth to preserve the contrast between the oxidized silver and the brass.

Is the cuff adjustable?

Yes. The open silver band flexes gently to fit most wrist sizes.

Will the finish tarnish or change over time?
