The Story

The multi-strand twist is a signature move in Filipino natural-materials jewelry: instead of a single row of beads, many strands are strung and then allowed to fall unevenly, so the piece reads as volume rather than a flat line.

The warm amber color comes from staining and polishing rather than dye alone, so the grain of the wood shows through each disc — one reason no two beads look quite the same. The horn toggle is real hardware, shaped and smoothed to fit its own eye, not a metal substitute.
