The Story

The design borrows the geometry of Egyptian scarab iconography — symmetrical wings, triangular forewings, a central carapace — and translates it into pure line. No modeling, no relief, just cutwork.

Suspending the motif inside a wire hoop keeps it graphic. The negative space around the wings does as much work as the metal itself, letting the shape read cleanly at arm's length.
