A wide, four-strand band of small pebble-shaped beads clusters densely around the wrist, anchored at the front by a smooth rectangular plate. The muted silver tone runs consistent across both — matte, low-luster, quietly worn.

The Story

Made in Türkiye, where small-batch pewter casting has a long working history in bead and finding work. The alloy is soft and workable, which is why it shows up in components like these rather than in larger hollowware.

The irregularity of each bead comes from casting in small molds rather than machine-turning. The rectangular front plate is the structural counterpoint — a plain, solid form set against the clustered, tactile band. It is a design language built on contrast: rough against smooth, movement against stillness.

A really stunning and unusual piece of jewelry! People regularly comment on it. It looks much more expensive than it is. One caution: it wouldn't fit if your wrist and hands are large. My wrist is small and it takes effort to get it on over my hand. Once in place, it's perfect.
