Miyuki delica beads are Japanese-made glass cylinders, milled to a uniform shape so they stack cleanly row on row. That precision is what lets the black-and-cream geometry here read as crisp, unbroken line rather than a blurred pattern.

The motif is a meander — a single unit mirrored and stepped to build a continuous, interlocking design. It is worked bead by bead on a loom, following a chart the way a weaver follows a pattern in cloth: every row has to align with the one before it, or the geometry falls apart.
